Three weeks ago, you were asked to find an online article that deals with careers and tips for success. I have chosen six articles of the twelve that have been submitted on your blogs.
The links to these articles are below (along with the students’ name that selected them):
http://humanresources.about.com/od/careersuccess/Career_Success.htm (TIFFANY)
http://www.quintcareers.com/dress_for_success.html (Matt)
http://careertipsblog.com/ (Jen)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25351333/ (Jenna)
http://www.quintcareers.com/career_planning_tips.html (Cecilia)
http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/career-articles-8_mistakes_to_avoid_in_your_first_quot_real_quot_job-1255 (Paul)
Directions:
1. Skim through the titles of all SIX articles.
2. Decide what TWO articles you are going to read (You MAY NOT CHOOSE AN ARTICLE THAT YOU ORIGINALLY PICKED)
3. Read TWO articles and summarize them on your blog page.
4. Choose one fact from each of the articles that you agree with, state them, and explain why you believe in it.
5. Lastly, visit each of your classmate’s blog pages and give an “end of the year” wish (like a yearbook signing…keep it clean!).
