4 comments:

  1. 1. The effect on other electronic devices would go down because people always want newer things. It is an easier way to do things and people are lazy so they will love it.
    2. "Before that can happen, Skinput's sensors need to get more accurate, he said. In a 13-person trial in Seattle, Washington, Skinput was found to be 96 percent accurate." It is weird to think that it is 96% accurate and it is a visual thing. It has only been under developement for 8 months.
    3. It was in the business section because it has to do with business.
    4. I cannot do this because I am the first one done.

  2. 1. Like all new devices and gadgets, Skinput would be very popular and people would ditch old devices for this new futuristic one. Business will be easier and multi-tasking will be easier, speeding up business time.
    2. "A person might walk toward their home, Harrison said, tap their palm to unlock the door and then tap some virtual buttons on their arms to turn on the TV and start flipping through channels." This idea is still too far fetched for me. Such futuristic ideas and hopes seem so surreal, even in this century.
    3. If the Skinput was approved and put on the market. Business would boom. Things would be accomplished with a touch of the hand and time would not be wasted, making more time for further production, etc. This would be an improvement to the business world.
    4. I agree with Paulie. Other gadgets would lose customers and money because of such a futuristic device. People jump at new developments and products.

  4. I wrote my answers on a piece of paper...

    1. I think the electronics we consider advanced right now are going to be handed down to the young kids. Like how 10 year-olds are now able to fully work computers and phones/blackberry's etc. they wil receive the ipad to learn and cmmunicate. Young adults and up will be using this skin touch. Eventually the physical electronic network will be downgraded in size and the use of virtual equipment will be the head honcho in marketing.
    2. "The system turns a persons arm and hand into a wiggling, pulsating instrument, full of vibrations that can be picked up and translated." It's crazy how interconnected human physiology and development are with technology now. To link a phone to muscle movement is so far beyond conception, but is becoming a reality.
    3. This invention will change not only what is sold in markets, but change how communication is set up, their departments in businesses for one, and world interaction. This will effect not only the economy but social networking and maybe even political action. It certainly will change budgeting for the change of equipment as well as reduction of it. There is no doubt inskintouch's potential to hit the world by storm.
    4. I think he should have commented why it has to do with business. That was the question.
